The teams aim to create vehicles that not only meet tough emissions standards but also provide a user-friendly experience for drivers. BMW is prioritizing performance and efficiency, targeting a range of approximately 500 kilometers (around 310 miles) per tank of hydrogen. These hydrogen vehicles are expected to complement the current electric vehicle offerings, providing consumers with more choices in sustainable mobility.

This strategic move reflects a broader industry trend towards diversifying energy sources to combat climate change.
