The new RX will be available in hybrid and plug-in hybrid (PHEV) variants, with the PHEV model offering an all-electric range of up to 40 miles. Pricing starts at $52,000 for the base hybrid model, while the PHEV version begins at $62,000. Deliveries are scheduled to commence in Q3 2025.

The 2025 RX boasts a redesigned exterior with a more aggressive spindle grille and sleeker LED lighting. Inside, the cabin features upgraded materials, a larger 14-inch touchscreen, and advanced driver-assistance systems, including Lexus’ latest Safety System+ 3.0. The hybrid model combines a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with an electric motor, delivering 246 horsepower, while the PHEV variant pairs a 2.4-liter engine with a more powerful electric motor for a combined 302 horsepower.
Lexus aims to strengthen its position in the competitive luxury SUV market, where it faces rivals like the BMW X5 and Mercedes-Benz GLE. The brand has also emphasized sustainability, with the RX PHEV targeting eco-conscious buyers. The 2025 RX will be available in key markets, including North America, Europe, and Asia, with pre-orders opening in June 2025.
