Cybertruck’s Full Self-Driving Feature Set for September Release, Park Assist Coming First

Tesla owners are nearing the long-awaited arrival of the Cybertruck’s Full Self-Driving (FSD) features, with hints of a September release circulating from Ashok Elluswamy, Tesla’s Director of Autopilot Software, on social media platform X.

The Cybertruck, equipped with cutting-edge 48-volt architecture and a steer-by-wire system, stands as one of Tesla’s most technologically advanced vehicles. So far, however, customers have received their Cybertrucks without any driver-assist capabilities. This has fueled eagerness within the Tesla community for updates on FSD and the foundational Autopilot features.

Interestingly, Elluswamy’s timeline aligns with CEO Elon Musk's earlier remarks. In May, Musk indicated that FSD for the Cybertruck was still “a few months away,” coinciding neatly with the latest expectations.

The enthusiasm among Cybertruck owners regarding the FSD rollout is justified, particularly as Tesla continues to produce only Foundation Series units of this all-electric pickup. Notably, FSD is part of the offering for every Cybertruck Foundation Series unit, suggesting that owners will soon have access to advanced driving features.

As the anticipated launch date approaches, Tesla enthusiasts are keenly watching for updates, hoping that this pioneering vehicle will soon showcase the full range of its promised capabilities. With the automotive landscape evolving, Tesla's innovations will undoubtedly keep the spotlight on the Cybertruck.
