Tesla Expands Vision Autopark to More Cybertruck Owners

Tesla is set to extend its Autopark feature to a broader range of Cybertruck owners after initially rolling it out to a limited group earlier this month. Following the launch of two preliminary builds for select testers, the company is now ready to make this innovative parking assistance tool available to the general public.

On early Saturday morning, updates were detected that indicate the deployment of Autopark on Tesla Vision to a wider audience of Cybertruck users. According to Teslascope, the software update, version 2024.32.5.3, has been observed on four specific vehicles so far. While it remains unclear when the update will be fully available to all eligible drivers, those who have purchased or subscribed to Full Self-Driving (FSD) features may receive it within the coming days.

Autopark allows drivers to execute automatic parking maneuvers, including parallel parking, simply by stopping near an available spot and selecting one of the highlighted areas. However, Tesla emphasizes that drivers must remain vigilant and ready to take immediate action when utilizing this and other Autopilot features.

While the FSD Supervised has yet to be released for Cybertrucks, Tesla previously announced that parking assistance features would be among the first functionalities to be integrated into this electric vehicle. Earlier this month, announcements from the Tesla AI team included a roadmap for the FSD Supervised rollout, indicating a planned launch within the month.

Additionally, Tesla has been working on its Actually Smart Summon (ASS) feature, allowing drivers to call their vehicles from parking spaces using the mobile app. Early reviews have started coming in, showcasing some impressive results for this much-anticipated feature. As Tesla continues to innovate, Cybertruck owners can look forward to enhanced convenience on the road.
