First Glimpse of Tesla Cybertruck Standard Variant Unveiled Online

The first images of Tesla’s standard, non-Foundation Series Cybertruck have made their debut online, sparking excitement within the EV community. These photos were shared on the social media platform X by a proud owner of the Cybertruck Foundation Series.

On Thursday evening, Tesla began inviting customers to place orders for the standard Cybertruck, with hints that delivery could start between October and November 2024. Many enthusiasts anticipated that visuals of the standard variant would soon emerge, and their predictions were quickly validated. By Friday morning, @greggertruck, an owner of the Foundation Series, shared photos detailing the standard Cybertruck's features.

The photo exposed several notable differences from the Foundation Series. Most prominently, the standard variant lacks the “Foundation Series” badging and comes without any additional accessories. Notably, even basic features like bed rings were absent, giving the vehicle a rather minimalist appearance. While some Tesla owners appreciated this aspect for its potential cost savings, others felt the standard variant seemed quite sparse when compared to the more robust Foundation Series model.

The Foundation Series adds a premium touch with a price tag of an additional $20,000, which includes features like Full Self-Driving (FSD), priced separately at $7,000, as well as Cyber Wheels and Covers, and a White Interior option. The package also provides lifetime Premium Connectivity and a $2,500 voucher for the Tesla shop, alongside several accessories such as all-weather interior liners and gear locker dividers.

As the Tesla community eagerly awaits further updates, the first images of the standard Cybertruck have certainly generated buzz and anticipation for what’s to come.
