The upgraded Tesla Model 3 'Highland' has begun deliveries in Malaysia, with customers receiving their new electric vehicles at Tesla Malaysia's Cyberjaya headquarters. Around 20 customers have already collected their EVs, and more deliveries are expected throughout the day, totaling approximately 100 cars.
Tesla Malaysia has launched Premium Connectivity for this market via the Tesla mobile app, priced at RM35.99 per month, offering features like music streaming and live traffic visualization. Customers enjoy a complimentary 30-day trial upon delivery.
Premium Connectivity pricing, linked to the Tesla app, depends on the market where the vehicle was initially registered. Tesla Malaysia also invites customers to join the Tesla Owners Club Malaysia for exclusive privileges and community connections.
Owners of the new Model 3 in Malaysia presently have access to four Supercharger locations and six destination charging spots. Additional chargers are planned for launch in the coming months across multiple states.
The Tesla Model 3 'Highland' facelift supports up to 250 kW of DC charging in Long Range AWD configuration, offering a WLTP range of up to 629 km. The base RWD variant supports up to 170 kW of DC charging, providing a range of up to 513 km on the WLTP cycle. Using the Supercharger V3, the Model 3 can recharge to gain 282 km of range in just 15 minutes, according to Tesla Malaysia.
