Tesla’s Optimus Bot Action Figure Sells Out in Under 24 Hours

Tesla's latest collectible, a 1:10-scale Optimus robot action figure, flew off the virtual shelves this week, selling out within 24 hours of its launch. Available exclusively on Tesla’s online store, the figurine captivated fans with its detailed design, featuring over 40 individual parts and 20 points of articulation. Tesla enthusiasts can opt to be notified when the product restocks.

Described as “your mini autonomous assistant and humanoid friend,” the Optimus action figure is a precision-engineered replica of Tesla’s Gen 2 humanoid robot. Standing 7.16 inches tall and weighing just 1.7 ounces, the figurine also includes a mini charging stand model and a Cyberhammer accessory. This marks Tesla’s first foray into non-vehicle collectibles, a departure from their popular diecast models of the Cybertruck, Model Y, and other vehicles.

The real-life Optimus robot was first unveiled at Tesla’s AI Day in 2022, and its development has been a major focus for the company. Tesla has showcased Optimus robots performing basic tasks in its factories, while CEO Elon Musk has shared ambitious plans for the bot’s future. External deliveries of the full-sized humanoid robot are expected to begin by 2025, with prices eventually dropping to $25,000-$30,000.

Recently, Tesla has used Optimus in public demonstrations, including serving drinks, to highlight its growing capabilities. Video updates shared on Tesla’s social media accounts reveal the bot’s progress in performing autonomous tasks and navigating various environments.

For fans of Tesla and futuristic technology, the Optimus bot action figure offers a glimpse into the company’s vision of robotic innovation, albeit in miniature form.

If you can't grab it right now, you can take advantage of Black Friday to fill the gap in your Tesla accessories collection, with discounts of up to 30% sitewide.
