In a bid to enhance fan engagement, Tesla has introduced a referral contest granting selected enthusiasts the chance to attend the highly anticipated Robotaxi unveiling event on October 10, 2024. As with other exclusive Tesla gatherings, attendance at this unveiling will be limited, and only a select number of invitations are available.
Tesla North America announced via their social media on X that individuals can earn an entry to the event by referring new customers to purchase a Tesla vehicle. This initiative not only fosters community involvement but also allows more fans a shot at participating in what Elon Musk deems one of the most significant events for the company.
The rules are straightforward. For every two complete referrals, participants secure one entry into the raffle, with a maximum of five entries allowed per person. Only referrals made post-August 24 are eligible, and the contest is exclusive to U.S. residents. Winners will be notified on October 3, 2024.
The referral contest has generated excitement among Tesla supporters, although some expressed disappointment over the U.S.-only restriction, as many enthusiasts from neighboring countries like Canada would also appreciate the opportunity to participate. Additionally, some fans suggested allowing tickets to be purchased using referral credits.
The highly anticipated Robotaxi unveiling is set to take place in Los Angeles, California. According to Tesla’s invitation guidelines, attendees must RSVP by midnight on October 6, and tickets are non-transferable. Doors are scheduled to open at 5:00 p.m., with the event commencing at 7:00 p.m.
